1 CONTROLLER AND PROCESSORS OF PERSONAL DATA
Following consultation and use of the Site Services, we may process data relating to identified or identifiable individuals, such as email address, name, an online identifier (hereinafter "Personal Data"). The identification details of the data controller and operator of the Site are as follows:

2 THE PERSONAL DATA BEING PROCESSED
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implied in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified subjects, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. Such data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of supposed computer crimes against the Site or third parties: with the exception of this possibility, said web data does not currently persist for more than 7 days.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail messages to the addresses indicated on the Site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, and any other personal data indicated in the message.
The Site offers users the opportunity to voluntarily provide personal information through, for example, the request for information or quotes, access to the reserved area of the Site, subscription to the newsletter, etc. The purposes of the processing of such data are listed in the paragraph "Purposes of processing".
Data of third parties provided voluntarily by the person concerned
When using some of the Services on the Site (such as, for example, through the Contacts section of the Site), we may process Personal Data of third parties that you provide to Med Food, as you are permitted to enter a text message. With respect to such cases, you are the independent data controller, assuming all legal obligations and responsibilities. In this sense, you hereby grant Med Food the widest possible indemnity in respect of any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damage caused by processing, etc. that you may receive from third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through your use of the functions of the Site in violation of the applicable rules on the protection of personal data. In any case, if you provide or otherwise process Personal Data of third parties in the use of the Site, you warrant from now on - assuming all related liability - that this particular case of processing is based on an appropriate legal basis under Article. 6 of the Regulation that entitles the processing of such.
There are various types of cookies, depending on their features and functions, and they can remain in the user's computer or mobile device for different periods of time: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed; so-called persistent cookies, which remain on the user's device until a set deadline.
Among the technical cookies, which do not require express consent for their use, the Italian Data Protection Authority (see Gen. Prov. "Simplified Arrangements to Provide Information and Obtain Consent Regarding Cookies - 8 may 2014") also includes:
- cookie analytics" when used directly by the operator of the site to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the site,
- navigation or session cookies (for authentication),
- function cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the same.
For "profiling cookies", on the contrary, i.e. those aimed at creating user profiles and used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing the web, prior consent of the user is required.

- Technical cookies for browsing or session and strictly necessary for the operation of the Site or to allow the user access to the content and services requested by them;
- Technical functionality cookies, i.e. cookies used to activate specific features of the site and a set of criteria selected to improve the service provided.
CAUTION: Disabling technical and/or functional cookies may result in the Website not being available for consultation or certain services or functions of the Website may not be available or may not function correctly and the user may be forced to modify or manually enter certain information or preferences each time he visits the Website.

The user can select which cookies to authorize through the appropriate procedure provided here: (link vuoto), as well as authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of his or her browser program: however, in the event that all or some of the cookies are disabled it is possible that the Site is not available or that some services or certain functions of the Site are not available or not working properly and / or the user may be forced to change or manually enter certain information or preferences each time he or she visits the Site.
3 PROCESSING PURPOSESMed Food will use your Personal Data, collected via the Website, for the following purposes:
a) purposes related to the services requested, such as, but not limited to: contact request, request for a quote, information, newsletter subscription, material available on the Site, to access the reserved area and purchase the products offered ("Service Provision");
b) purposes of statistical research/analysis on aggregated or anonymous data, therefore without the possibility of identifying the user in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning ("Statistics");
(c) purposes related to the fulfilment of obligations under European Union law, regulation or legislation, or requests from authorities ('Compliance');
4 LEGAL BASIS AND MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE PROCESSING
The legal bases used by Med Food to process its Personal Data, according to the purposes indicated in Section 3 above, are the following:- Service provision: the processing of your Personal Data for this purpose (Section 3.a) is necessary in order to provide you with the Services and to be able to meet your requests, therefore, for the execution of the existing contract with you. The legal basis for such processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation ("[...] the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the same"). The provision of Personal Data for this purpose is optional, but failing this it will not be possible to provide the Services provided through the Site.
- Statistics: please note that this processing is not performed on Personal Data and can therefore be freely carried out by Med Food.
- Compliance: the processing of your Personal Data for this purpose (Section 3.) is necessary in order for Med Food to comply with any legal obligations or satisfy requests from the authorities. This processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation ("[...] the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject"). The processing of your Personal Data for this purpose is, in fact, necessary to comply with legal obligations to which Med Food is subject. Such processing may involve the storage and communication of your Personal Data to Authorities for accounting, fiscal or other obligations.
5 RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATAYour Personal Data may be shared for the purposes set out in Section 3 above (the "Recipients"):
a) parties typically acting in their capacity as data controllers, that is: (i) persons, companies or professional firms that provide assistance and advice to Med Food on accounting, administrative, legal, tax and financial matters in relation to the provision of the Services; (ii) parties with whom it is necessary to interact in order to provide the Services (for example, hosting providers); (iii) parties delegated to carry out technical maintenance activities;
b) parties, entities or authorities to whom the disclosure of your Personal Data is required by law or orders of the competent authorities;
c) persons authorized by Med Food to process its Personal Data necessary to carry out activities strictly related to the provision of the Services, who are committed to confidentiality or have an adequate legal obligation of confidentiality.
6 TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA
Some of your Personal Data is shared with Recipients that may be found outside the European Economic Area. Med Food ensures that the processing of your Personal Data by these Recipients is carried out in compliance with the Regulation. Indeed, transfers may be based on an adequacy decision, on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or on another appropriate legal basis. Further information is available from the Data Controller by writing to the contact details indicated in the "Contacts" section of this notice.
7 RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATAPersonal Data for the provision of the Service will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve those same purposes and, in the second case, until the time required by the specific obligation or rule of applicable law. In any case, since it is a matter of processing carried out for the provision of Services, Med Food will process Personal Data until the time allowed by Italian law to protect its interests (Art. 2946 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code) from possible complaints relating to the Services.
Personal Data processed for Compliance purposes (Section 3.c) will be kept until the time required by the specific obligation or applicable law.
For Marketing purposes (Section 3.d) your Personal Data will, instead, be processed, as a general rule, until your consent is revoked. In any case, Med Food may retain your Personal Data for the period of time provided for and permitted by Italian law to protect its interests.
8 YOUR RIGHTS
Pursuant to Articles 15 and following of the Regulations, you have the right to ask Med Food, at any time, for access to your Personal Data, their correction or cancellation or to oppose their processing; you have the right to request the limitation of the processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulations, as well as to obtain in a structured format, in common use and readable by an automatic device, the data concerning you, in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulations.
In any case, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Control Authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data), pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulations, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data is contrary to the regulations in force.
